Requirements for Sociology Major

  • SOC 101G Introduction to Sociology
  • SOC 351 Sociological Theory
  • SOC 352 Social Research: Methods
  • SOC 353 Social Research: Analysis
  • SOC 401 Introduction to Social Practice
  • Plus 18 credits of Sociology electives to bring total to 33. Of these 18 credits, six need to be at the 400 level, and three need to be at the 300/400 level.  A grade of “C” or better is required. Six credits of Directed Readings are allowed
