Background
Holly J. Gregg is an adjunct professor of sociology at NMSU. As an alum of the department, she is proud to serve the Aggie community!
Research
Ms. Gregg’s areas of specialization in sociology are gender, social stratification, feminist theory, and familial roles. Recent research focuses on the impacts of infertility, life course expectations, and eventual parenthood on gendered ideologies, in addition to studying the impact of religious ideology on experiences of involuntary childlessness. She has also recently written on intersectional "collective foregrounding" within social justice movements, examining the role of interlocking social identities and experiences in meeting the needs of coalition.
